Q: How do I reserve a school bus, charter bus, trolley bus, or van for my wedding or school event?

Q: What's included in the bus rental rate?

Except for tips, the rate we offer you is all-inclusive. Tips are much appreciated but not mandatory. The bus rate you receive from us will have no "hidden fees" or extra surcharges. Charges will only be added to your quote for extra stops requested by the customers or unusual damages made to the vehicle beyond reasonable wear and tear caused by the customer

Q: What is the tipping policy?

Though not mandatory, tips are much appreciated. The industry is 20%; however, we leave it to your discretion.

Q: What are the fees/policies for extra stops throughout Los Angeles?

Please call us to speak to a customer service representative for assistance regarding extra stops.

Q: How can I pay for my school bus, charter bus, trolley bus, van rental?

You may pay in full in advance. Alternatively, you may pay a $25 deposit in advance, and pay the remaining amount due after pickup.

Q: Which forms of payment does AMERICAN GTS accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).

Q: What is the Cancellation/Refund Policy?

If you cancel more than 72 hours in advance, you will only lose your deposit of $25. If you cancel less than 72 hours in advance, you will have to pay 15% of the quoted rate of the reservation.

Q: How long can I rent a vehicle?

AMERICAN GTS requires a five hour minimum rental charge. We charge a flat rate for the first five hours. Afterwards, each hour will have its own hourly rate.

Q: When does my credit card get charged?

After the job has been successfully completed, the credit card on file will be charged in the full amount the following day.

Q: Will I be able to see the school bus, charter bus, trolley bus, van before my wedding day?

Yes. The bride and groom are always welcome to visit our yard and choose/inspect the vehicles they prefer for their big day.

Q: What is the alcohol/ drug policy?

Possession/consumption of alcohol is not permitted in any of our vehicles if any of the passengers are under 21. Possession/consumption of illegal drugs by any passenger is not permitted. Breaking these provisions is grounds for immediate termination of service for all passengers, with no refund.

Q: What is the Lost-and-Found policy?

AMERICAN GTS is not responsible for any items left behind by passengers in the vehicle. If you have lost an item, please contact us and, if found, we will return it to you.

Q: Does your company work with nonprofit organizations?

Yes. We do have special rates for nonprofit organizations. Please call us to speak with a customer service representative before continuing on with your reservation.
